Preparing For Your Tattoo
On the day:
Please bring your photo ID in with you – you must be over 18 or we can’t tattoo you, your deposit will be lost, and everyone will be sad 🙁
Dress comfortably and wear clothing that doesn’t cover or pull the skin around the area that’s getting tattooed. If you’re unsure and need some suggestions, ask us :)
Please don’t wear any perfume or strong deodorants, as some scents can affect others.
Finding us/ Parking: We are located in between a podiatrist and a physio on the south side of Market St. We have loads of 1-2 hour parking around, and are a short walk from Nunawading train station and the bus stop bay on Springvale Rd. For all-day sessions or parking longer than 2 hours, park outside and come in & see us, we have access to nearby secure parking and will buzz you in.
Make sure to eat before you come in, and you can bring snacks and cold drinks, but please no hot food in the studio – food smells can make people getting tattooed feel a bit nauseous!
If you have sensory sensitivities, please feel free to bring anything you need – headphones, facemask, fidgets are great! We won’t be offended at all if you need to zone out, and we are so happy to accomodate any needs as much as we can 🙂
No kids, pets, or entourages please! We love ‘em all but as a smaller studio we prefer you come alone to your appointment, and for health and safety reasons we cannot allow children under 10 or non-service animals in the studio. However if you need a support person to sit in with you during your booking, we are so happy to accomodate – just let us know in advance so we can ensure we have enough space prepared!
We are a safe space so we appreciate everyone being mindful of other clients, our artists, and their diverse backgrounds and experiences, so while in the studio please avoid sharing potentially triggering or traumatic stories, or language or opinions that may offend others (even if unintentionally).
